Safe Communities like Portola Hills are Important.

South Orange County and communities like Portola Hills are rated in the top 10 cities throughout California. I am sure agree we want to keep it that way. 

Unfortunately every day it seems we see more fraud, regulations and such that are putting our communities in jeopardy.  I have had enough.. so if you follow along you know I have been speaking up to our representatives and candidates about how they are going to hold Sacramento accountable to the people. It really has been eye opening. 

A perfect example of this is what happened with Prop 36.  70% of Californian's voted together, Democrats, Republicans, Independents that we wanted stronger law and order and to reverse the horrible Prop 47/57 that made crime a misdemeanor.  70% of people said yes to Prop 36 and it passed.  But today the law is not being funded. Who's job is it to make sure it is, our state Attorney General. This is just one example but a perfect one.  Another one is the recent rewrite of the headline on Prop 39.  Again an overwhelming popular bill is written and the Rob Bonta the AG rewrote the headline, to discourage a yes vote! Is that really the role of the AG.. To change the title of Bill that millions of Californians worked on to get passed? 

Just today, Voter ID and removing the ability of Congress to Trade Stock was rejected. Again both of these are overwhelming popular changes, we the people are in agreement with. 

I am not the type of person to give up, just pushes me to get more involved and so that is why I am doing something. I have met Michael Gates, several times now and am excited he is running for Attorney General of California.  In a few short weeks, we may be able to count on some accountability coming to California. But we need to get the vote out, we need people to show up.  It makes a difference when you meet your candidates.. so I am bringing that opportunity to South OC and you're invited!
